OUR 350 EXPERIANCE
On Oct. 24, 2009, a group of students joined the Nor Marash Junior-High group. The program began with a worship service where Pastor Hrayr Cholakian, talked about God's creation and our place in it (based on Gen. 1:15) -"The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."

Student Council's first activity: 350
The student Council has planned to march for 350 (to know more visit 350.org). The brochure above, is what will be distributed among students and to the shops in Bourj Hammoud. It is our belief that we --and all of creation-- belong to God, and are responsible to take good care of it.
This is our first step. Our school will be a place for new hope for the future of our BLUE and beloved planet.
We wish to serve as an example to generations to come by simply doing our part.
We would highly appreciate if you would join us in any way possible.

May 6 - Lebanese Martyrs' Day
On May 6, the Armenian Community commemorated the Lebanese Martyrs' day. Armenian students gathered at the Martyrs' Square in down-town Beirut in the presence of the representatives of the three Armenian religious denominations and government officials.
This event comes to express our solidarity and thankfulness to the Lebanese people who hosted us on their land when we, as a nation, were being martyred.
