LEBANESE Independence day celebrations

On the occasion of the Lebanese Independence Day, the Lebanese Special forces visited our school and made two presentations. The first one was a video and slide presentation and the second one on-the-field presentation. All this was coordinated by the First Lieutenant Sarkis Karageozian.

Հայ Աւետարանական Շամլեան-Թաթիկեան երկրորդական Վարժարանի 75ամեակը

Ուրբաթ, 12 Մարտ 2010ին Նոր Մարաշի Հայ Աւետարանական Շամլեան-Թաթիկեան երկրորդական վարժարանը նշեց իր 75րդ տարեդարձը,ներկայութեամբ վարժարանին մեծ ընտանիքին ներկայացուցիչներուն՝ նոր ու հին շրջանաւարտներու, ուսուցիչներու, հոգաբարձուներու, բարեկամներու եւ բարերարներու, ինչպէս նաեւ ՄԱՀԱԵՄի Նախագահ Վեր. Մկրտիչ Գարակէօզեանի, Հայկազեան Համալսարանի Նախագահ Վեր. Դոկտ. Փօլ Հայտօսթեանի, Պուրճ Համուտի քաղաքապետ Տիար Անդրանիկ Մսըրլեանի եւ նախկին պետական երեսփոխան Տոքթ. Նուրիճան Տեմիրճեանի:

75ամեակի Յանձնախումբին (Տոքթ. Աւետիս Չաքմաքեան, Տիկք. Անիթա Անտոնեան, Արփի Շարլաքեան, Օրդք. Անի Սարգիսեան, Սոնիա Սիսլեան եւ Ճոաննա Մոմճեան) կազմակերպութեամբ պատրաստուած էր կոկիկ յայտագիր մը, զոր վարեց Յանխնախումբին ատենապետը՝ Տոքթ. Աւետիս Չաքմաքեան:

Բացման խօսքը՝ բարի գալուստի մաղթանքներով, կատարեց վարժարանին հոգաբարձական կազմին ատենապետը՝ Տիար ճան Սաղըրեան, որ ապա բեմ հրաւիրեց Վեր. Դոկտ. Փ. Հայտօսթեանը որ աղօթք մատուցանէ:

Գեղարուեստական յայտագրով ներկաներուն հրամցուեցան դաշնակի վրայ երաժշտական կտորներ՝ կատարողութեամբ երիտասարդ խմբավար եւ երաժշտահան Կարօ Աւեսեանի, հայկական ժողովրդական երգեր՝ մեկնաբանութեամբ երաժշտանոցի ուսուցիչ եւ երգիչ Պրն. Գէորգ Պէպէճեանի, հայկական տոհմիկ պարեր՝ կատարուած վարժարանին Սիփան պարախումբին աղջիկներուն կողմէ, Դ. Վարուժանի ծանօթ քերթուածներէն համադրուած ասմունքի կտոր մը՝ կատարողութեամբ շրջանաւարտուհի Թամար Նալպանտեանի: Իսկ գաղութին հանրածանօթ խմբավար երաժիշտներէն Զաքար Քէշիշեան կատակով համեմուած իր աաշկերտական յուշերէն դրուագներ ներկայացուց եւ ապա շուիի վրայ նուագեց, նշելով թէ այդ նոյն բերմին վրայ էր որ առաջին անգամ ինք շուի նուագած էր:

Գեղարուեստական յայտագրին աւարտին Ճոաննա Մոմճեան լուսանկարներով ներկայացուց Պուրճ Համուտը երէկ եւ Այսօր , որմէ ետք Շամլեան-Թաթիկեանի տնօրէնը՝ Պատուելի Հրայր Չոլագեան շնորհակալութեան խօսք ուղղեց բոլոր անոնց որոնք ձեռնարկին յաջողութեան համար անսակարկ աշխատեցան: Ան իր խօսքին մէջ նաեւ նշեց թէ 75ամեակը տօնելը նաեւ ապագային համար կարեւոր է, որովհետեւ վարժարանը պիտի շարունակէ իր առաքելութիւնը: Իր խօսքին աւարտին Պատ. Չոլագեան բեմ հրաւիրեց Պուրճ Համուտի քաշաքապետ Տիար Անդրանիկ Մսըրլեանը: Բեմ բարձրացան նաեւ Վեր. Մ. Գարակէօզեանն ու Տիար Ճան Սաղըրեանը, որպէսզի Տիար Մսըրլեանին յանձնեն գնահատական յուշանուէր մը՝ անոր բոլորանուէր ծառայութեանց համար, զորս կատարեց թէ՛ Պուրճ Համուտի եւ թէ՛ վարժարանին բարօրութեան ի խնդիր: Յուշանուէրի յանձնումին յաջորդեց յոբելինական կարկանդակին հատումը:

Ձեռնարկին աւարտին Վեր. Մ. Գարակէօզեան իր փակման խօսքին մէջ շեշտեց թէ անցեալն է որ ապագան կը կերտէ, ուստի հարկ է յիշել անցեալն ու թելադրուիլ անկէ՝ գալիքին համար: Ապա ան մատուց օրհնութեան աղօթքը:

Յոբելինական ճաշկերոյթին մասնակցողները մեկնեցան նորոգուած յիշատակներով եւ յաջող ու բեղուն տարիներու ջերմ մաղթանքներով:

By the decision of the 75th Anniversary Committee and the Board of trusties of the Arm. Evang. Sec. School - Shamlian-Tatikian, we are glad to announce that Friday, March 12, 2010 is the date of the 75th anniversary banquet.

SIPAN at the FMEEC General Assembly

On Tue. 12/1/10 our school's SIPAN Armenian Folk Dace group presented an Armenian Cultural evening to the 60 plus members of the general assembly of the Fellowship of the Middle East Evangelical Churches in Beit-Ania Harisa. The audience consisted of President, and members of the Executive Committee of the FMEEC as well as delegates from the Evangelical Churches in the Middle East, Europe and the USA. 13 dances were performed out of which 2 were Lebanese "Debke" and the rest pure Armenian. This was an opportunity to present the rich Armenian heritage to people from the four corners of the world.

Christmas ACTIVITIES

1. 23/12/09 Christmas in our KG - 23/12/09 was the last day of the year for our KG students and the day in which each class presented Christmas in its own style. The KGII class presented the story of Jesus' birth while the younger ones danced and sang Christmas hymns and songs.

2. 23/12/09 Student Council activity - The student council had organized a three hour Christmas gathering for grades 7-12 students as well as the teachers. The evening started with refreshments --tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits-- and went on to include Christmas carols, games, karaoke and gift swapping. All was planned and executed by the student council.

3. 24/12/09 Christmas Activities - The Elem. Student had their Christmas worship and gathering in the school premises after which they were divided into two --the G1-3 went to McDonald's and had a snack and a time to play, while the G4-6 students joined the Int. 7 sec. students and went to see the movie "A Christmas Carol" 3D style.

For grade 7-12 students the day started with a visit to the Old Peoples' Home in Bourj Hammoud and spent a wonderful hour of singing Christmas carols, talking hugging and listening to the our "grand-moms and grand-dads". they also served a breakfast which they themselves had bought out of the income from the "Christmas Karaoke" ticket sale.
