Daily Bible Verse

Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land that the LORD promised on oath to your forefathers. Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
Deuteronomy 8:1-3  (NIV)

KG Graduation 09

On Friday, June 19, 2009, the KG graduation celebration took place in the school's Hassesian Hall. All four classes took part and all 77 students (out of which 19 graduates), danced, sang and recited in four different languages. This year's theme was "The Family".
Our guest this year, Mr. Kevork Bebejian, sang alongside his grandson and KGII students. The Children also marked the school's 75th anniversary, with a grand finale.
As we thank the head of our KG and all of our teachers and staff for their hard work, we also would like to remind our friends that it is very significant that all KG teachers have been Shamlian-Tatikian students and graduates.
We thank God for all his blessings and especially for the lives of the children entrusted to us.

The post-elections - a picture

On June 7, 2009 Lebanon electected its parliament and one building used for this (out of many), was our school building.  The pictures only show the garbage left behind, but in fact a lot of damage was done to the wall paint due to papers stuck to the walls -all over.

Grades 1-3 visit Animal City

On May 29, 2009, all the students of Elem. 1-3 visited a zoo --ANIMAL CITY.  There they had different activities, like visiting the different animals (the lion, tiger, cobra, deer, duck, monkey, a variety of birds, and a lot others) playing in the playground, and having lunch in the beautiful natural setting.  It was a beautiful day indeed!
