"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

GRADUATION 2008

This year our school gave 19 graduates from the secondary school and 16 from the elementary. This year's commencement ceremony (held on July 12, 2008) coincided with the 90th anniversary of the first Independence of Armenian and the year of Christian Education. The program, which started with a prayer, hymns and the recitation of Biblical verses, remembered both occasions. The speaker of the day was the chairman of the board of trusties, Mr. John Sagherian. We thank God for all those who worked with & for our graduates. May God's grace be with this new generation as they go out into the world armed with knowledge, wisdom & the light of the Gospel of Christ. Read the names of our graduates.

SCHOOL TRIPS - JUNE 24, 2008

The intermediate & secondary students headed to the mountains (950 meters above sea level) to the beautiful Armenian Catholic Monastery of Bzommar. For them, this was a day of fun & education. It started with a tour of the campus –the Church, museum & library of over 80,000 books & manuscript. Then all headed for the adjacent field, where each class, with their homeroom teacher, started the lunch preparation. All were well prepared –from tuna salads to great barbeques & pizzas.
We thank our teachers an

KG GRADUATION & ... Ghassan Rahbani

On Fri. June 13, 2008, 18 KG II students graduated from kindergarten. All three KG classes performed on stage. They sang, recited and prayed in Arabic, English & Armenian, and danced to the tunes of Lebanese and Armenian folk music. All these were integrated in one drama whose theme centered around “being content”.
The highlight of the evening was a song recently released in the markets –a song dedicated to the Armenian people- which the KG I & II students performed. The author and singer of “Nahna Hon Min3ich” (We live here), the famous Lebanese Artist, Ghasan Rahbani, honored our students by his presence. In his word to the students and families, he stressed that, the Armenian people should be very proud to be Armenian.
We congratulate our KG students, their parents & families. We also congratulate and highly appreciate our dedicated KG teachers and staff.
