Elem. & Sec. Graduations

The elementary & secondary school graduation ceremonies were held on July 10, 2009, in the Church's Hasesian Hall. 17 Elem. & 24 Sec. students presented a rich program --of poetry, songs, piano pieces and dance-- to parents and guests, before receiving their diplomas. We congratulate all of our students and their families.

At the end of the ceremony two teachers/Staff (Mrs. Seta Elmajian & Mrs. Siham Saab), who had served the school for many years and reached their retirement, received trophies of gratitude from the Board of trusties. We thank all who have and still do serve the school in different ways.

KG Graduation 09

On Friday, June 19, 2009, the KG graduation celebration took place in the school's Hassesian Hall. All four classes took part and all 77 students (out of which 19 graduates), danced, sang and recited in four different languages. This year's theme was "The Family".
Our guest this year, Mr. Kevork Bebejian, sang alongside his grandson and KGII students. The Children also marked the school's 75th anniversary, with a grand finale.
As we thank the head of our KG and all of our teachers and staff for their hard work, we also would like to remind our friends that it is very significant that all KG teachers have been Shamlian-Tatikian students and graduates.
We thank God for all his blessings and especially for the lives of the children entrusted to us.

The post-elections - a picture

On June 7, 2009 Lebanon electected its parliament and one building used for this (out of many), was our school building.  The pictures only show the garbage left behind, but in fact a lot of damage was done to the wall paint due to papers stuck to the walls -all over.

1. Yesterday, 29/5/09 was a joint sports day for all of the Arm. Evang. Schools in Lebanon.  All of our Elem. 4-6 And Int.– Sec. students headed to Anjar and had different types of games (Basketball for Sec. students & mini football and field games for the elem.
